The Gemini astronauts also took some of the most memorable photos in NASA history. You’d think we would have seen them all by now. But with Nasa’s help and funding, a team of researchers at Arizona State University led by lunar scientist Mark Robinson has retrieved from the archives dozens of outtakes that never made it into wide circulation.

Converging Paths to Divergent Ends.
The Convergence of the Sixth Street Viaduct, Railyards & Los Angeles River.  Los Angeles, CA
The heart of LA to me is where the LA River meets the 6th Street Viaduct.  The  dividing line between the Eastside and the Westside, used to symbolize the artificial barriers that kept people apart. Slowly, with the new MTA Gold Line, River Restoration & diversifying city, this place, like the heartbeat of LA, held back for years, is breaking free.
